Yeh Meri Family is an Indian web series from The Viral Fever. It tells a story of ups & downs in day to day lives of an Indian family from the point of view of a 12 year old boy.

The Season consists of 7 Episodes and it is perfect for Binge Watch. The series showed the common issue of a 12 year old in the late 90’s which we all 90’s kids can easily relate with it. In my opinion that’s the best thing about this show that it hits right on the spot when it comes to display the 90’s Nostalgia with a very true realistic portrayal of a generic Indian Family.

The main child actor Vishesh Bansal has given a superb performance. His portrayal of the role is on point. He captured the true heart and soul of a 90’s kid. We all adults can easily relate our childhood when we see his performance. Other Cast member includes Mona Singh, Akarsh Khurrana, Ahan Nirban & Ruhi Khan. Also there is another notable performance given by Prasad Reddy as Shanky. He is clearly one of the highlights of the show. His witted and smooth attitude steals the show.

Another Highlight of the show is the Soundtrack which is composed by Vaibhav Bundhoo, Rohit Sharma, Simran Hora, Nilotpal Bora. There are some songs which can be easily on Top Charts. I would like to mention Three Songs especially which are worth listening. First is “Aisi Hai Hawa” sung by the legendary singer Udit Narayan, Second would be the Title Track “Yeh Meri Family” sung by Vaibhav Bundhoo & Kavya-Kriti accompanying with beautiful visuals of showing families of animals which implies that Eveyone’s family is equally important no matter if its an Animal or Human Being. And third would “Dhaaga” sung by Nilotpal Bora.

Should you Watch it??

Absolutely YES,. You have to watch it to get that Nostalgic Feeling of 90’s Childhood. My rating for the this Season is 4 out of 5. This kind of series is a breath of fresh air in Indian Television.
