The New TV Series from the house of Netflix “Stranger Things” is a creating lot of buzz around the globe.

The show is blending the elements from Extra-terrestrial to 80’s Hollywood Horror flicks. The first season is consisting of eight episodes with a strong story, atmosphere and the depth of characterization.

The show is reviving the 80’s era, from Cinematography to Background Score and taking inspirations from Classic Hits like E.T, The Goonies, The nightmare on Elm Street, The Things, Super 8 and most of the Stephen King Horror Novels. The whole eight episodes are present in the form of Chapters from a horror Book.

I have to say that The Duffer Brothers worked really hard on each element of the show from storytelling, Title Sequence to Visualization of it. And it’s hard for me to believe that this show was rejected by most of the networks before Netflix took it.

Also I have to mention the Amazing Title Sequence of the show which is done by the company name “Imaginary Forces” and the background score is composed by Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon of the electronic band called Survive.

All the actors and Actress of the show played their part very well. I would like to mention child actors Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brow) portrays their character very well. Also 80’s Icon Winona Ryder really did a good job of portraying Will’s mother.

Overall I give 4.5 out of 5 for Stranger Things Season One. The show really did well by capturing the 80’s atmosphere, Horror and Extra terrestrial vibe and presenting it in a different way for a New Generation.

Him Rating: 4.5/5
